High-performance roller test bench
In our workshop we have a high performance Superflow 4×4 roller test bench. The Superflow brand comes from America and is among the most accurate test bench available on the market.
Engine outputs up to 1500hp and speeds over 300km/h are calculated exactly. The test bench is suitable for both two- and four-wheel-drive cars.
The roller test bench is mounted in a sound booth with forced driving wind cooling that can move up to 25,000m³ of air per hour. The adjustable wheelbase from 2 meters to 3.5 meters makes this test bench suitable for testing almost any car. The 4×4 test bench operates on the “rolling-road” principle; the front and rear rollers synchronize through a drive train. Thanks to this construction, we also effortlessly test two-wheel drive vehicles equipped with ABS, ESP or ASR.

What happens during testing on a roller dynamometer?
Most people who have a chassis dynamometer test done want to find out the crankshaft power of their car: how much power and torque does the engine produce at the crankshaft? In reality, however, a power bench primarily measures the force between the car tires and the rollers of the power bench. This also makes sense. After all, the driving forces at your wheels determine how fast you can accelerate, and the driving power at the wheels determines how fast you can drive.
